How to Wear Jones Road Miracle Balm in Flushed

I have always loved the natural pink that cheeks turn after exercising. It’s healthy, fresh, and super pretty. If you ask me, everyone looks good with a little pink on the cheeks, which is why I’m so excited to introduce Flushed, the newest shade of Miracle Balm. Unlike our other shades which can be used all over the skin for dewiness and color correction, Flushed is really about adding color to your complexion.
I like to think of it as moisturizer meets a pop of color. Flushed is a warm pink with flecks of gold that instantly brightens, adds luminosity, and gives you that “just pinched” shade of pink. It’s truly a one and done product, adding both color and hydration (thanks to ingredients like jojoba and argan oil) in one go.
How to Wear It
The thing I really love about this product is that it truly works on all skin tones, from light to dark. I love applying Flushed to the apple of the cheek, but you can also use it on eyelids and lips. (My rules for wearing pink makeup will help you balance where on the face to use it!) Remember: you have to be strategic in where you apply it, or you run the risk of having your skin look too pink.
If you have really fair skin, Flushed might not work for you as an all-over color in the same way that Miracle Balm in Dusty Rose or Tawny would. If your Face Pencil shade is low, wear Flushed on lips and cheeks and avoid applying to the forehead and neck. Always start with a small amount and build from there.
If you have darker skin (Face Pencil Shade 15 or above), you have a little more flexibility in how you wear Flushed. Try it on eyes, lips, and cheeks or apply it as an all over tint like you might with other shades of Miracle Balm.
Product Pairings
The other thing I really love about this product is how well it pairs with the other staples in your routine. You can wear Flushed alone, on top of other shades of Miracle Balm (try it with Tawny, Bronze, Sunkissed, or Dusty Rose) or layered over a powder blush or a Lip and Cheek Stick for extra luminosity. I really love how Flushed looks layered on top of Miracle Balm in Sunkissed. It’s already become my go-to product for color and hydration.
