Early on in my freelance career I worked with the talented and oh-so-funny Michael Kors on his fashion shows, look books and ad campaigns. Oribe Canales always did the hair.
One season instead of a show, Michael hired director David Cameron to shoot a lifestyle piece with Christy Turlington and two hunky male models. I am almost speechless when I see her natural beauty and poise in front of the camera.
It took us three or four days to shoot this and it was a lot of fun. I still to this day love her makeup, so 90s — the brown eyeshadow, nude skin and pale nude lips — the whole thing holds up so many years later.
