Bobbi Reviews It: Sunlighten Infrared Sauna

A few years ago I started using the Sunlighten mPulse Infrared Sauna and it’s become an essential part of my wellness routine. I use it a couple times a week and, to be honest, it’s probably the only time I really sit still. One 30 minute session can help to lower inflammation, build collagen, reduce pain, and help improve circulation. What’s not to love about that?

Traditional saunas use steam to heat the air around the body, but infrared saunas use light to heat the body directly and deeply into the muscles. Infrared saunas are also at a lower temperature, which allows for more benefit because you can stay in longer. Sunlighten is the first and only infrared sauna to offer near, mid and far infrared technology in a single heater and at the optimal wavelengths, which studies have found to produce the most effective infrared for health benefits.

Here’s how infrared light works:

Near infrared light is the shortest wavelength and it’s been linked to skin renewal, healing, cellular health, and more.

Mid infrared is a longer wavelength that can penetrate deeper into the body’s tissues, which is where inflammation occurs, to help speed up healing and provide pain relief.

Far infrared is the longest wavelength, helping to detox the body, help you relax, and to even burn some calories. I love being able to give my body an extra healing boost at the end of the day.

With the mPulse, you can choose between six different health programs that are preprogrammed for you: detoxification, weight loss, pain relief, cardio, anti-aging, and relaxation. I like to switch between different programs depending on my mood and what my body needs, but the end result is always the same: I feel relaxed, recharged, and rejuvenated. And when you feel good, you look good.
