Curated by Bobbi: The Ultimate Holiday Gift Guide
Written by: Bobbi
Looking to give something really special this holiday season? Here are a few of my favorite, splurge-worthy gifts. From sneakers to weekend retreats, you’ll find something for everyone on your list.
Weekend at Shou Sugi Ban House
The best kind of splurge is on your body (and your mind). The Shou Sugi Ban House is the perfect spot to put away my phone, breathe, and reset with a luxurious head-to-toe body treatment.
Hermes Evelyne III 29 Bag
This is my go-to, everyday bag. The supersoft leather has the perfect sturdiness for everyday use, and no matter how full it is, it never feels uncomfortably heavy.
Vitamix 780 Blender
This kitchen essential makes it easy to eat your veggies, and is perfect for everything from smoothies to soups. It’s also looks great on the counter if, like me, you want it accessible and use it everyday.
Coltellerie Berti 5 Piece Insieme Kitchen Knife Set
These knives are sharp and sleek and so cool looking. Whether I’m cooking for just my family on a weeknight or a big group of friends like my annual Yom Kippur party, I know my prep will be quick and safe.
James Perse Cashmere Knit Blanket
This was recently gifted to me, and I can’t believe I didn’t think of it myself. The cashmere is soft and buttery, and it’s great to wrap up in at the end of a long day.
Mark Cross Small Box Bag
For makeup, snacks, or an everything-on-the-go purse, this Mark Cross bag is simple, beautiful, and sophisticated.
Ted Muehling Cluster Earrings in Opal
I usually dress simply and casually, but these earrings dress me up and allow me to still feel like myself. To order, call 212.431.3825.
Smeg Full Size Refrigerator in Union Jack
I’m an unabashed Anglophile, so this fridge sits in my office next to two portraits of the Queen. I stock it with snacks for my team, and it never loses its polish.
Rolex Watch
Classics like a Rolex last forever. I bought one for my husband when we got engaged and one for my son when he turned 25. (I still owe one to son number two.)
Anya Hindmarch Bespoke A5 Two Way Notebook
My customizable notebook from Anya Hindmarch keeps my mind clear. It even displays “Stuff in my head” in my handwriting on both sides. My son liked it so much he got one, too.
LaMazzocco Linea Mini
I learned about this brand from one of my sons, whose taste I admire. LaMazzocco is becoming the standard in coffee shops with know-how, but I like to make good espresso from the comfort of my own kitchen, so the linea mini is a must.
Dyson Supersonic Hair Dryer
I love this hair dryer so much that I got one for every room of the boutique hotel my husband Steven and I own, THE GEORGE. The rave reviews of guests say everything you need to know. Dyson is the best.
Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream
This is my all-time favorite face cream, and it’s worth its weight in gold. Which would probably be the same price. No regrets.
Gucci Ace Leather Sneakers
Big surprise: I love sneakers. This Gucci pair is as classic as it gets, and goes with almost every outfit. It’s a no brainer.
Abaco Relief Fund
Treating yourself is great and all, but just isn’t as important as giving to others in need. Hurricane Dorian devastated the beautiful Bahamas this year and the Abaco Islands are still recovering. The Abaco Relief Fund is a 501C3 nonprofit focused on restoring the islands and their wonderful people. It will get better in the Bahamas, with our help.
